Danger of theophilline in case it were used in infants for prevention of asthma
The medicine theophilline is generally used for asthma patients, but if it were prescribed in infants, especially for preventative objectives, that could be subject to causing spasm. If it lasts long hours like 2.5 hours, it is subject to causing acute encephalitis.
