Journal Entry Less Active But..

Seems nobody but for me are writing journals regulary right now, all numbers of entries seem just stopped. But I've found a number of contributers in discussions sections. Because some of them are very interesting.
I think the articles in Slashdot are sometimes too specialised so layman like me don't undersatand, but here it is easier for us like layman to get access to what they call technology - certainly 'Taking technology into our own hands'.
In the case of Slashdot, it's just too many entries in comments to the one article -usually more than 200, so nobody does understand somebody is really replying after reading someone's comment thoroughly. I want to make a comment when I find it interesting to do so. It's just so simple.

Seems not only this site but other site as well started in a limited member in a limited circle at the same place- probably in a study of college, institute, etc.
This site started back in 1970, I was just 8 years old. Amazing!

Look at the section - Top Posters By Friends, there are 24 people who's last updated date is 1970.01.01 9:00.
It was already 35 years ago, at that time there would be almost no people who knew what the Internet is -what occurred to those twenty users- I have nothing to know whereabouts.
Around as of July, last year 2004, abruptly number of users appeared in the list. I guess this site was sleeping for thirty four years then abruptly it woke up.
Now in the age of the Internet, this site will play an important role soon.

I found some articles interesting , especially those posted by zogger. I sometimes visit this site and intend to make a comment when I find an interesting one.
